Academic Awards Chapel

So proud of this girl! She would not give up and has persevered through a rigorous 7th grade year! Her Old Testament Survey and Science teacher told me he was in the meeting where the awards were discussed, and when it came to the Notable Performance Award,  Allison was "unanimously and enthusiastically" chosen by the 7th grade teachers. 

I loved the description that was given for this award and emailed the teacher who read and presented the award to Allison. I emailed her to get a complete description, and this was her kind email in return.

One of my mom friends came to my classroom and watched my students so I could see Allison receive the award. What a blessing! I had no idea Allison was even getting an award. Another sweet mom friend congratulated me (for Allison) after the awards and said what an honor to hear such a great compliment spoken of your child. 

We are very proud and Mark promptly put the award on the mantle minutes after he got home from work. 

To God be the glory, and He isn't finished with her yet!

My lunch yesterday

Yesterday,me and Meagan were eating Macaroni and cheese and meagan would not stop looking out the window. I told her she needed to eat but no, that girl does her own thing. So, I say...
"Meagan come sit down by me where you can look out the window and eat your food." But she said "No awison you fawt toooo much." Then I say, "No"
She says yes, Allison you aways fawt.
Well in my head, what I'm thinking now is that this kind of food does not make sissy gassy.
